This Privacy Policy explains how Tiem Giat 1988 ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our laundry pickup and delivery services in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, or when you visit tiemgiat1988.com.

We operate in compliance with Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on Personal Data Protection of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, effective 1 July 2023.

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

• Contact details: name, phone number, WhatsApp number, hotel or residential address, room number.
• Service details: type and weight of laundry, pickup and delivery preferences, special care instructions.
• Communication records: messages you send via WhatsApp, phone, email, or Zalo.
• Intake photographs: we photograph every order at intake to document item condition for damage-prevention purposes.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Website analytics: via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 — pages visited, time on page, referrer URL, device type, approximate location (city level), anonymized IP.
• Cookies: see Section 6 below.
• Ad attribution: if you arrive via Google Ads, we record the click identifier for conversion measurement.

2.3 Payment information

We accept VND cash on delivery or Vietnamese bank transfer. We do not store credit card numbers, international payment details, or foreign bank account information on our systems.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Fulfill your order: schedule pickup, process laundry, deliver back, take payment.
• Document service quality: intake photographs are used solely to verify item condition in case of a damage claim.
• Communicate with you: send order confirmations, pickup notifications, delivery confirmations, and respond to questions.
• Improve the website and service: analyze aggregate traffic patterns and common requests.
• Legal compliance: keep transaction records required by Vietnamese tax and business regulations.

4. Who We Share Information With

• Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads): anonymized website usage data for measurement. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• WhatsApp / Meta: when you message us on WhatsApp, your message transits through Meta's infrastructure. Governed by WhatsApp's Privacy Policy.
• Delivery staff: our own drivers receive your pickup and delivery address and phone number strictly to complete the service.
• Vietnamese authorities: only if legally required by a valid order from a court, tax authority, or competent government body.

5. Data Retention

• Intake photographs: kept for 30 days after delivery, then permanently deleted unless a damage claim is open.
• Order records (name, address, order amount): kept for 12 months for quality and dispute-resolution purposes, then anonymized.
• Accounting records required by Vietnamese tax law: kept for 5 years.
• WhatsApp chat history: retained at your discretion — you may delete chats on your device at any time.
• Website analytics: 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default).

6. Cookies

We use the following cookie categories on tiemgiat1988.com:

• Strictly necessary: session cookies, security tokens — cannot be disabled.
• Analytics: Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid) — measure page traffic anonymously.
• Advertising: Google Ads conversion cookies — track whether an ad led to an inquiry. Only set if you arrived from a Google Ad.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling may affect how the website functions but will not affect our ability to deliver laundry service.

7. Your Rights

Under Vietnam Decree 13/2023/ND-CP and generally recognized privacy principles, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct — ask us to update inaccurate or outdated information.
• Delete — request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements above.
• Object — opt out of any marketing contact at any time.
• Withdraw consent — revoke prior consent for data processing not required for service delivery.
• Complain — lodge a complaint with Vietnamese data protection authorities if you believe we have mishandled your data.

8. Data Security

We store customer records on password-protected devices accessible only to authorized staff. Intake photographs are stored on a secured cloud account. We do not transmit personal data over unencrypted channels. No system is 100% immune to breach — if a data incident occurs, we will notify affected customers within 72 hours as required by Decree 13/2023.

9. International Data Transfer

Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager) and Meta (WhatsApp) are foreign service providers whose servers may be outside Vietnam. By using our website or messaging us on WhatsApp, you consent to data transfer to the relevant providers' jurisdictions, governed by their respective privacy policies.

10. Children

Our services are offered to adults and accompanied family travelers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 directly. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For substantial changes, we will notify repeat customers by WhatsApp or email.
