Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of laundry pickup, cleaning, and delivery services provided by Tiem Giat 1988 ("we", "us"). By booking a service with us — via WhatsApp, phone, Zalo, email, or in person — you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

We provide laundry services in Ho Chi Minh City including: machine wash, air dry, steam press (giặt hấp), dry cleaning (giặt khô), shoe cleaning, and specialty care for áo dài, suits, leather, silk, and similar items. We pick up from and deliver to your hotel, apartment, or address anywhere in HCMC.

2. Booking & Quotes

To book, contact us on WhatsApp (+84 888 648 338), phone (+84 988 188 276), or Zalo. For items requiring individual pricing (steam press, dry cleaning, shoe cleaning), send us a photograph and we will respond with an exact quote before pickup. No surprises on delivery.

• VND cash on delivery (primary method) — no upfront payment required.
• Vietnamese bank transfer — Vietcombank, Techcombank, BIDV, MB, ACB accepted.
• We do not accept: USD cash, international credit cards, foreign bank transfers, cryptocurrency, PayPal.

4. Pickup & Delivery

• Pickup in 30–60 minutes after booking within Ho Chi Minh City.
• Shipping fee: flat 50,000 VND per order, includes both pickup and delivery.
• For same-day completion, book before 2:00 PM.
• Hotel pickup: we meet at reception — please notify the front desk.
• If no one is available to receive delivery, we will reschedule and contact you via WhatsApp.

5. Turnaround Time

Turnaround times stated in Section 3.1 begin when our shipper collects your order. Delays may occur due to factors outside our control (extreme weather, traffic, power outage, holiday periods). We will notify you via WhatsApp of any delay exceeding the stated turnaround.

6. Lost or Missing Items

If an item is missing upon delivery, notify us immediately. We check our sorting area and CCTV records. If the item cannot be located within 7 days, we will work with you in good faith to resolve the issue, subject to the limitation of liability in Section 10 below.

7. Prohibited & Special Items

For the following items we require explicit approval via WhatsApp before treatment:

• Antique or heirloom textiles
• Items with non-standard care labels or no care label
• Hand-beaded, sequined, or embroidered garments
• Traditional áo dài with delicate hand-painted detail
• Leather, fur, or shearling items

8. Cancellation

• Before pickup: cancel anytime via WhatsApp at no charge.
• After pickup, before wash: return trip billed at 50,000 VND (shipping only).
• After wash begins: full service charge applies.

9. Complaints

Customer satisfaction is our priority. If you are not satisfied with the service, contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Most issues are resolved the same day. Unresolved complaints may be escalated by emailing tiemgiat1988@gmail.com with subject "Formal complaint".

10. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any single order shall not exceed the replacement value of the items in that order, capped at 10,000,000 VND unless otherwise agreed in writing before service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or sentimental damages (loss of enjoyment, missed events).

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved first through good-faith negotiation, then through the competent court in Ho Chi Minh City.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, pricing, or law. Updated Terms are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date and apply to orders placed after that date.
